“I didn’t choose photography, photography chose me.” – Gerardo Suter
Truth be told, I have had a camera in my hands since the first grade. I started with point and shoots, but by the time I reached high school I had taken over using my moms fully manual Minolta. My favorite place has always been behind the lens, looking through and seeing life from a different perspective.
I took my first photography class my junior year of high school. It was my first experience in a dark room, developing my own film and prints, I was hooked! That was the moment I knew this is what I wanted to do as a career.
After taking a few photography classes at the local community college, I decided to transfer to an art school for professional training.
I graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2005 with an Associates of Science degree in Photography.
For almost 20 years I have been capturing special moments not only in my clients lives but my own as well. Please allow me to capture yours as well!
